BIO

Kevin Ligons is a recent graduate of University of North Texas. During his time at the University of North Texas, Kevin was a part of the College of Visual Design's BIPOC Organization as a contributing member and President. He was responsible for allocating funds for art workshops, leading member meetings and organizing artists talks with UNT CVAD Alumna. Kevin also spent his undergraduate career securing and preparing 3+ exhibits within CVAD gallery spaces.

Kevin builds upon on his original stories, character designs and design projects using his mastery of anatomy and foundational technical drawing skills. In his own projects, Kevin uses his time management, research expertise, creative project development skills and proficiency in color theory and design to create cohesive and engaging experiences for viewers.
 
Kevin finds it important that everyone has a voice heard in stories and makes it a point to be as inclusive and accurate in his character creation process by researching and compiling reference assets for his design process. He is most interested in creating diverse stories and designs that bring attention to marginalized identities. 

Kevin is experienced in collaborative art projects, organization, research and revision, team management and problem solving.
